Close to what you do
Remote roles that use your current skills most directly. We found these in real job postings. Tap one to see why it fits.
What it is: Counsels clients by video on food and health, under your licence.
Skills you already use: assessing needs, coaching habits, explaining evidence, keeping accurate records.
Your route in: A dietitian credential and a licence in each state or province you serve. The postings we found are for US licences, so in Canada check your provincial college. Several are contract roles.
Good to know: Often asks for some related experience or a credential.
One step away
Usually needs a little training, a portfolio or a new tool.
Uncharted
Not standard jobs. You would pitch, freelance or start these. No postings are behind them, so expect more work and less certainty.
Worth checking: Dietitian is a protected title. In the US you need a licence in each state where clients live (some states have no licence law). In Canada you must be registered with the provincial college where the client lives. Sales, labels, writing and program jobs usually need no licence, but you may not call yourself a dietitian for advice you give to individuals unless you are registered.
Some of these are our suggestions, based on skills you share, not jobs we found postings for. Read a few real postings before you rely on any idea.
